Stoned & Hammered® is the home of contemporary silver and gold jewellery created by Norfolk designer Lisa Bambridge.
Committed to the sculptural and practical design of unique, wearable pieces of art. Created mostly from silver but also gold, precious and semi precious gemstones often reflecting the subtle hues of the stormy North Sea- Favourites are inflourescent Labradorite and Moonstone, mossy Aquamarines, watery Sapphires mixed with Baroque shaped pearls and delicate flake-like Japanese Keshi pearls. Stoned and Hammered Jewellery is unique and each design and many of the gems used have an interesting story behind it's origins. Nothing is mass produced, even the clasps are wrought and twisted by hand before being hammered into shape in a beautiful, slightly organic way.
Inspired by the richness of Norfolk's land and seascapes, hedgerows and history, often using natural materials and even ancient and historic tools to produce her work.
Every piece is designed and made in Lisa's Norfolk studio - or at the bench in Stoned & Hammered's beautiful boutique on historic Elm Hill in the heart of Norwich's ancient Cathedral Quarter. The 500 year old shop is a quaint space to peruse new designs and more unusual one off pieces, and also to discuss made to measure and couture pieces.
