Small Hammered Blossom Earrings

These are for a pair of the smaller sized blossom stud earrings in the picture.

I make these by hand, one at a time, so each one and each pair are a little different in texture and size from the next. The wooden mannequin hand is life sized, to give you an idea of scale.

Blackthorn blossoms were my original inspiration. From early in the year, when the weather is still frosty, wild and stormy there is suddenly a burst of delicate but hardy, white blooms adorning countryside hedgerows. I probably shouldn't have told you this, as you might have been imagining some more glamorous kinds of blossoms.. but these were in my imagination, over 22 years ago when I first began creating them.
